Jeff Babcock roasted our first batch in the fall of 1996, and this café on N 56th Street opened in January 1997. It has been in the same spot ever since, part of the early wave of Seattle cafés that put craft first. Green Lake is still home to Espresso Paladino, our original blend and the coffee behind every espresso drink we pour. Everything we serve is roasted at our own roastery in Bellingham, Washington: seven blends, four decafs, and a rotating selection of single origins from farms we have worked with for years. Every coffee is also available by the bag. Stop in for a cup, stay a while, or take some home.
