Description
Universal Credit Calculator is a free, independent tool that helps claimants and advisers work out what Universal Credit a household is entitled to under the Welfare Reform Act 2012 and the Universal Credit Regulations 2013. It applies the 2026/27 rates in force from 6 April 2026: standard allowance, child elements, the disabled child element, the health element at both of its two rates, the carer element, the childcare element, and the housing element with Local Housing Allowance, bedroom entitlement and the under-occupancy reduction. It then applies what comes off: the work allowance and 55% taper, the capital tariff, the benefit cap and the deductions cap.
