Dr. Janabi earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Baghdad College of Dentistry, Iraq. He completed a post-graduate residency in Operative Dentistry and a Master’s degree in Dental Science from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Janabi practiced general dentistry in Chicago’s suburbs for 5 years before moving to Maryland to finish a specialty training in Endodontics and a second Master’s degree in Dental Science from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. During the endodontic residency, he received the Tony Michael Ponti Memorial Award for his excellence in endodontic, two of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) Dentsply Resident Awards for two consecutive years and filed two patents in the US Patent Office and Trademark Office (USPTO) for dental devices to be used in the endodontic field.
