1 Journal Square is a planned apartment complex at Journal Square in Jersey City, New Jersey. It will reportedly consist of one 79-story skyscraper containing 744 rental units above a 9-story base with 121,640 square feet of retail space, 117,840 square feet of office space and 388 parking spaces. The building was designed by Woods Bagot and is being developed through a partnership between Kushner Companies and the KABR Group.
There was a previously approved design by Becker + Becker Associates that was being developed by Harwood Properties. Construction was never started on the project and Harwood eventually sold the property in January 2015.
