The error code 5200 Canon printer occurs when the temperature of the ink cartridge goes abnormally high because of empty ink cartridges, and the printhead gets overheated. To fix this issue, remove the printhead and close the front cover. Then, press and hold "RESUME," plug in the power supply, release, then press and hold "RESUME" for 5-6 seconds, and then let go. After this, put in the print head and a piece of A4 paper. Lastly, press the "RESUME" key three times to close the front cover.
