OPEC College was established in 2019 to focus on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for public and private sector employees including former Defence and First Responder personnel. OPEC College also delivers industry specific courses within eight key faculties for people who are unable to achieve full RPL. The faculties include: Business Courses, Education Support Courses, Leadership and Management Courses, Human Resources Courses, Workplace Health and Safety Courses, Project Management Courses, Marine Oil Spill Response Training, Public Sector Training Courses, Risk Management Courses, Auditing Courses and Short Courses.
