The inspiration for The Modern Furniture Store grew from a long held appreciation of the simple form and functionality of Scandinavian furniture design - quality products designed and manufactured in solid timber and intended to be used and appreciated at home or at work every day. The Scandinavian ethos of social inclusion, humility and simplicity is something to be admired and is reflected in its furniture and craft industries. Our furniture is complimented by an extensive range of homewares, including those by design legends Marimekko, Iittala, Architectmade and Normann Copenhagen. We also stock beautiful floor coverings by Australia’s very own Armadillo & Co.
