Silkman House, also known as the Providence Branch of the Scranton Public Library, is a historic home located at Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1840, and is a 2 1/2-story, rectangular frame building in the Greek Revival style. It has a front gable roof, large central chimney, brick foundation, and one-story wing. The front facade features a portico supported by four square columns. The house was purchased by the city of Scranton for use as the Providence Branch of the Scranton Public
Library.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
