Neptune High School is a comprehensive four-year community public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Neptune Township, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States, operating as part of the Neptune Township Schools. Neptune Township Schools is one of New Jersey's 31 former Abbott districts. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Secondary Schools since 1929.As of the 2015-16 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,404 students and 101.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.9:1. There were 625 students (44.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 115 (8.2% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch. The student body was 56.5% Black, 24.5% White, 14.0% Hispanic and 1.2% Asian / Pacific Islander.
