West Bridgford is a town in the Rushcliffe borough of Nottinghamshire, England, immediately south of the city of Nottingham, delimited by the River Trent. The population of the town at the 2011 census was 47,109.It is part of the Rushcliffe constituency which is held by 'The Rt Hon Kenneth Clarke, QC', (Conservative Party), who is also a native of West Bridgford. The headquarters of Nottinghamshire County Council has been located here since 1959.
