Shyama Prasad Mukherji College commonly known as SPM College is a constituent college of University of Delhi. SPM is an all girls college and was founded in 1969 in the memory of a distinguished academician named Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherji. It awards degrees under the purview of the university and offers undergraduate and post-graduate courses in Humanities and Commerce streams. The college also offers Teachers Training Programmes - B.Ed & B.El.Ed. and is among the few colleges of University of Delhi to offer the course outside the Central Institute of Education (CIE), University of Delhi.
