Completing fine hardwood surfaces requires great skill. At Artwood Restoration (French Polishers in Bromley) we are able to undertake a wide range of specialist wood finishes including:



Gilding, Japanning and veneering.



We also undertake Floor Sanding and Polishing,



Recently we were engaged to carry out extensive works within a large stately home in North London. This was in association with our esteemed colleagues at Hedges French Polishers. Using traditional french polishing methods we applied our skills in colour, matching, staining, grain filling, bodying, waxing or spiriting to panels; rails and doors to finish them to the required specifications. The variety of fine woods including mahogany, walnut, and oak, were a real pleasure to work on! We also used modern lacquers and oils where appropriate for example, on floor work.



Recently we have taken on more furniture and piano work which we always enjoy.
