The North White Plains station is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem Line, located in the North White Plains neighborhood of White Plains, New York. It is the north terminal for most trains that run local to the south and, until 1984, was the northern limit of electrification. Adjacent to the station is a yard/support facility for trains, one of two on the line (Southeast in Brewster is the other). It is 23.8 miles (38.3 km) from Grand Central Terminal. Travel time varies from 37 minutes to one hour depending on if the train is express or local. The station is in the city of White Plains, and lies close to the hamlet of North White Plains in North Castle.This station is the northernmost station in the Zone 4 Metro-North fare zone.
