Raj Nagar Extension is a residential area mainly consisting of mid rise apartments in Ghaziabad, India. Rajnagar Extension can also be termed as an integrated township which was formed by couple of prominent real estate developers in the region.The developers later found an association to jointly work on the developments in the region. Today the area has over 16,000 houses where people have already moved in and around 17,000 more are about to shift very soon. With the mounting work, the association later became the part of the body, CREDAI and is now liasioning for the development of the entire ghaziabad region under the banner of CREDAI GHAZIABAD. The USP of this area is an adjoining perennially green and unpolluted belt, which is going to remain undisturbed as Ghaziabad Development Authority has declared 500 acres along Hindon river as a green belt and banned all construction activity in the area
Rajngar Extension today has over 35 developers and approximately 34000 houses. The region is also the hub of developments like proposed metro station, elevated roads connecting directly to National Highways, development of Hindon air base as a domestic airport, schools and commercial centres in the same vicinity and many more. A girl's hostel, a vocational college, and a training institute have also been announced in vicinity of Raj Nagar Extension by the UP government. Work on these projects has already begun and will accelerate development in the area.
