Osiecznica [ɔɕet͡ʂˈnit͡sa] (German: Wehrau) is a village in Bolesławiec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Osiecznica. It lies approximately 13 km (8 mi) north-west of Bolesławiec, and 116 km (72 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles.
The village has a population of 1,000.
From 1975 to 1998 Osiecznica was in Jelenia Góra Voivodeship.
