In early 2026 I experienced the loss of my twin daughters to stillbirth. I felt very lost and unsure of how to cope. I didn't think I would ever feel peace again. During the grieving process, I started to draw my feelings. What started out as ugly negative pictures slowly turned into me wanting to make something pretty. From pretty paintings, my work evolved to peaceful paintings. I am now able to paint pretty, peaceful things and think of my daughters. Instead of the ugly grief, I am remembering them with the freedom and peace of the ocean. I hope you feel peace when you look at my paintings, and I hope you can find your own meaning in my work no matter what experiences you are coming here with!
