Alexander Brun, MD, is a board-certified specialist in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He serves the communities of Brooklyn, Staten Island, and the Bronx, New York, at Triborough GI. Dr. Brun has completed and published extensive research in his field, utilizing this knowledge to better treat his patients. Dr. Brun has an extensive educational background in medicine. He earned his medical degree in 2005 at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in Brooklyn. He then moved to East Garden City, New York, to complete his fellowship residency in gastroenterology at the acclaimed Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine. Then, he completed a residency in internal medicine at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
