Travelopro's Global Distribution System (GDS) is a computerized network system. It is a large computer network that is integrated with hundreds of worldwide airlines and consolidators for enabling transactions between travel agents and travel sites and is also used by airlines, hotels, car rentals, railways, and buses. Our GDS mainly uses real-time inventory to service providers (vendors). It is also called an Automated Reservation System (ARS) or Computerized Reservation System (CRS). GDS stands for Global Distribution System and it is basically a central reservation system enables travel agencies and their clients to access travel data, shop for and compare reservations options and book travel.
