Emily M. Mintz, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who is pleased to have relocated from Manhattan to her native Houston where she joined Houston Dermatology Associates. She completed her dermatology residency at Columbia University Medical Center and then practiced medical and cosmetic dermatology in Manhattan, NY and River Edge, NJ until a desire to be closer to family brought her home to Houston in September 2014.
Dr. Mintz received her undergraduate education at University of Texas at Austin, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. She graduated summa cum laude from the Plan II Honors Program and then pursued her medical studies at University of Texas Medical School at Houston. There she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
