Vallecrosia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) west of Imperia. It is next to the busy city of Ventimiglia (Vintimille in French). As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,264 and an area of 3.6 square kilometres (1.4 sq mi).
