The Axe Man is the best place if you are looking for Wood in Smallburgh. We are a small Family run Father (Les) and Son (Ben) team. We find Splitting and Stacking firewood to be relaxing and therapeutic and have enjoyed doing it at home for many years. The Log burner is fast becoming a more popular way of heating your living area or as a cosy addition to the main heating. We use traditional wood splitting techniques with axes and mauls. This means that we can keep our hourly rates low and there are no noisy petrol/diesel log splitter machines on site. We run on tea and biscuits.
