IELTS Speaking test is a face-to-face interview between the candidate and the examiner and comprises of three parts:



Part 1- Introduction,

Part 2-Cue Card and

Part 3- General Discussion.



Each part of the speaking test is analysed by the examiner with respect to four different criteria:



Fluency and Coherence

Lexical Resource

Grammatical Range and Accuracy

Pronunciation



All the criteria carry equal weightage and IELTS band score for Speaking test is the average of correct answers scores.
