We know that medical care has grown more complex and that the amount of health information available has increased greatly. We also know that, at the same time, the face-to-face time people have with their doctors is increasingly limited. This often leaves individuals facing many confusing choices.

The faculty physicians who write and edit our books are practicing doctors who understand the questions and concerns of patients.
