The Rosewood Bangkok is a hotel under construction in Bangkok, along Phloen Chit Road. According to the architects, the peculiar shape of the building is inspired by the 'wai' greeting.The structure is articulated as 2 separated high-rises containing the guest rooms, connected by a large opening at the centre of the building. This opening forms the public backbone of the structure, connecting the exterior pool deck, gym, and spa spaces with the restaurant space 11 levels above.The hotel is planned to open in 2019 and will offer 159 rooms. The building will be linked to the adjacent Phloen Chit BTS station by a footbridge.
