Info

Holy Trinity Church, also known as the Church of the Holy Trinity, is a Church of England parish church in the town of Reading in the English county of Berkshire. It is situated on the Oxford Road some 500 metres (1,600 ft) west of the town centre. It is a Grade II listed building.
The church was built in 1826 as a proprietary chapel and was designed by Edward Garbett, a local architect who was also responsible for the church of the same name in Theale. The building was heavily modified in 1845, when it acquired its current high-pitched roof and facade. In 1864 it became a chapel of ease in the parish of St Mary the Virgin, and in 1870 it became a parish church in its own right.
The church has a chancel screen by Augustus Pugin that was originally in St Chad's Cathedral in Birmingham.
