The building at 1 Wall Street Court in Manhattan, also known as The Beaver Building and The Cocoa Exchange (as the former home of the New York Cocoa Exchange) is a triangular-shaped building reminiscent of the Flatiron Building. The building, designed by Clinton and Russell and completed in 1904, is located at the intersection of Wall Street, Pearl Street, and Beaver Street. The Munson Steamship Line, an American steamship company that operated in the Atlantic Ocean primarily between U.S. ports and ports in the Caribbean and South America, had its head office in this building from 1904 until 1921, and owned the building from 1919 to 1937.
Circa 2006, the building underwent conversion to become a residential condominium.
