3 Civic Plaza, also referred to as 3 Civic Tower is a mixed-use complex under construction in Whalley/City Centre, Surrey, BC. Building is slated to be completed in 2018.
At 164 m (538 ft) tall, it is by far the tallest building in Surrey and overtook the fifteen-year rival Central City Office Tower. It will consist of luxury residences, a hotel (Marriott hotel), offices, retail and Kwantlen Polytechnic University's 5th campus (KPU Civic Plaza) occupying the first five floors above the open lobby/atrium. Strategically located near the Surrey City Hall, 3 Civic Plaza has been touted as the focal center and the anchoring tower of the Whalley area. A nearby proposed tower at 191 m (625 ft), if completed will displace 3 Civic Plaza as the tallest building in Surrey by 2021.
