Leeds Law School, is the law school of Leeds Beckett University, located in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Leeds Law School is one of the two brands within the Faculty of Business & Law – the other brand is Leeds Business School. Leeds is the UK's largest centre for business, legal, and financial services outside London, and according to the most recent Office for National Statistics estimates, Leeds is the fastest growing city in the UK. The city was voted the Best UK University Destination by a survey in The Independent newspaper.The Leeds Law School provision was praised by the Law Society and Quality Assurance Agency in 2004 and has a student satisfaction rate of 74%
The Head of Leeds Law school is Deveral Capps, who joined Leeds Beckett in February 2015. It offers a full range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional law courses, as well as having a flourishing Law Research Unit. Postgraduate law courses include the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and the conversion course, the Postgraduate Diploma in Law. Undergraduate courses include LLB (Hons) Law and BA (Hons) Law with Criminology.
