A member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, Dr. Val Manocchio is a Fellow of Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine. He owns and operates a comprehensive Hormone Replacement Therapy, Medical Weight Loss and Wellness center in Weston, Florida. Dr. Val Manocchio holds his Bachelor’s Degree from University of Miami’s School of Medicine, having graduated in 1980. Upon graduation, he began his practice as an Emergency Medicine Physician.Dr. Val returned to residency training in 1983 in General Surgery at Staten Island Hospital in New York. Following this, he studied Anesthesiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, with a focus in the fields of General, Pediatric, Obstetric, and Cardiac Anesthesia.
Dr. Val went on to practice Clinical Anesthesiology in South Florida from 1986 to the late 90’s, when he began developing his specialty and limiting his practice to care for patients needing plastic and reconstructive surgery. His focus became procedures aimed at correcting obesity related disfigurement.
