The Narre Warren Fire Brigade is a fully volunteer brigade of the Victoria Country Fire Authority (CFA), located in the south-east Melbourne suburb of Narre Warren. The primary brigade area consists of 193,700 square metres of office, commercial and retail floor space, representing in 2001 12,300 houses and a population of 34,300. The brigade has over 8,800 cars registered in its area.The increase of population over the last few years within the area has brought about an increase in the number of calls that the brigade has received, from approximately 100 calls in 1993 to 500 calls in 2004-2005 and 700 calls in 2008-09.
