California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) is the largest medical center of the Northern California-based Sutter Health health system, as a result of the merger of several of the longest established hospitals in San Francisco. It is a general medical/surgical hospital, academic medical center, and specialty hospital operating at multiple locations in San Francisco, California.Its primary campuses in San Francisco are the California Campus in Presidio Heights, the Pacific Campus in Pacific Heights, the Davies Campus in Lower Haight, and the St. Luke's campus in the Mission District. While it is a privately funded entity, CPMC has strong academic ties to the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Stanford University Medical Center as well as the Geisel School of Medicine of Dartmouth College.
