The Clifton Public Schools is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in kindergarten through twelfth grade from Clifton, in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States.
As of the 2011-12 school year, the district's 17 schools had an enrollment of 10,992 students and 790.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.91:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "CD", the sixth-highest of eight groupings.
