San Benedetto dei Marsi (Latin: Marruvium or Marrubium; Greek: Μαρούϊον) is a comune and town in the province of L'Aquila in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It is on the eastern shore of the dried Lake Fucino, 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the remains of another ancient site, Alba Fucens.
Near the town is the stream Giovenco, identified as the ancient stream known as Pitonius.
