The castle of Rudenz exists from the early 13th Century and stands in the Flüelen municipality in the canton of Uri in Switzerland. The building was built originally as a fortified tower controlling the Gotthard road (Gotthardstrasse) and as an Imperial customs post. The Imperial customs in the 1300s was owned by the lords of Attinghausen.
