Ellena helped establish The fashion Workshop NYC and taught art & design at the New York School for Media Arts. Her distinctive illustrations appeared in major fashion magazines and weekly in the NY Times for Abercrombie and Fitch. Her extensive study of drawing and painting as expressed through fashion illustration paved the way for her natural transition into portraiture. Children are her favorite subject. Ellena attended Fordham University, The School of Visual Arts and FIT. Ms Roman was creative supervisor and art director of Roman Assoc. NYC.
