The Lawai International Center on the Hawaiian island of Kauai is on 32 acres in the Lawai Valley that was once the site of a Hawaiian heiau, a Taoist temple, a Shinto shrine, and a Shingon Buddhist temple. On the site are 88 Buddhist shrines.
