The Aist is a river system in Upper Austria, a tributary of the Danube. Via its major branches the Feldaist and the Waldaist, and other streams, it drains an area of 647 km2 (250 sq mi).
The Aist rises in Hohensteg (south of Pregarten) and flows through the protected Natura-2000 site Waldaist-Naarn (Fauna-Flora-Habitat Area) on its 15 km (9.3 mi) journey to its confluence with the Danube.
